We were invited by the Propeg agency to take on an incredible and challenging project. We created a new version of the traditional Zé Gotinha mascot, created in the 1980s as a symbol of childhood vaccination, for the Rio de Janeiro state government.
Below, you can see the original character, the sketch we were sent for reference, and our initial studies. After choosing the character's style, we sketched out the poses and accessories. The idea was to give him a childlike appearance and a Carioca essence.
